First Ever 'Web on DVD' Title Launches New Genre

New York, NY (PRWEB) July 9, 2007 -- Last week marked the launch of a new DVD genre- Web Video on DVD- with the inaugural title 'Numa Presents: Best of Web Video' which debuted July 3rd in major retailers nationwide. The title is produced by Little West Twelfth Street Productions and distributed domestically by Trinity Home Entertainment.

'Numa' is a first of its kind DVD that contains a compilation of the funniest, craziest, and most entertaining web video clips from sites like YouTube, Google Video, and MySpace. The DVD's title Numa Presents refers to VH1's #1 Internet Superstar, Gary Brolsma aka Numa Numa for his world famous lip synching video which has been viewed over 700 million times on the Internet. The DVD contains an intro by Brolsma as well as exclusive footage never before seen on DVD or on the web.

Brolsma and internationally renowned musician Dan Balan (who produced the original 'Numa' song Dragostea Din Tei) met with fans at an autograph signing event at Transword Entertainment's flagship FYE store in midtown Manhattan last week. The DVD launch is supported by a massive online marketing campaign and promotional appearances by Numa on major network television shows throughout the summer.
