PhD Computing Oversees Expansion of CareMore Web Site

Glendora, Calif. (PRWEB) May 30, 2007 -- PhD Computing, a southern California-based full-service web development company, recently completed an extensive technological expansion of the web site for CareMore, an Orange County-based health plan dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors.

To build a dynamic corporate website for CareMore employees as well as its health plan members, the company enlisted the services of The Triad Group, a prominent Orange County-based marketing, advertising and design firm.

"We took charge of the redesign of the CareMore site, and we brought in our IT Partner, PhD Computing, to handle the expansion of the site's technological capabilities, and the task of integrating that technology into the client's operation," said Steve Kaufman, President of The Triad Group.

PhD Computing built and implemented multiple back-end user interfaces, to improve the functionality of the web site. PhD also added geosearch capability, a Dynamic Calendaring System, an Online Application Wizard, a Senior Activity Area and many other additional functions designed to make the online experience more convenient and user-friendly for CareMore's employees and membership.

"In January CareMore unveiled a new benefit for its members - the Club CareMore Centers," said Robert Patrick, President of PhD Computing. "These Centers provide a range of valuable services to seniors in need. We gave them the capability to host live virtual tours of these Centers on the web site, which brings the help they provide even closer to those who need it."
